Hydra-Flo and Broken Arrow Guttering

What are the advantages of an underground drainage system?

  • The most common reason for installation of a drain system is to carry the roof water even farther from the foundation of your home. While the guttering generally accomplishes this on most houses, some lawns are not graded properly to carry the water away from the house, so surface water drains can often solve this problem.
  • There is often an aesthetic benefit associated with drains, especially in flowerbed areas. If a downspout must come down in a flowerbed, it must be extended past the edging to prevent mulch erosion. However, this is typically not the most cosmetically appealing solution, as it will run across the top of the ground. Instead, we can install an underground drain that carries the water from the downspout to an appropriate place.
